I had the most amazing moist chocolate cake this cny and now am on my quest to look for that perfect recipe. Found this recipe over the internet. It is the easiest cake recipe of all time. It calls for 2 cups of flour, 2 cups of sugar, 3/4 cup cocoa powder, 2 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp salt, 2 eggs, 1 cup buttermilk, 1 cup hot water, 1 cup corn oil and 1 1/2 tsp vanilla essence. Mix all ingredients until a smooth batter and pour into a square tin (lined bottom and sides). Bake for 1 hour or until skewer comes out clean in a 150C pre-heated oven. The cake turned out very moist as promised but just okay on the taste.
