


If you had sour cream on its own, you'd wonder how it can add such lovely texture & smoothness in a cake. Particularly in chocolate cakes, sour cream is often used together with baking soda as a lifing agent. The original recipe calls for tube pans but I wanted that crusty like muffin tops so I made them in muffin cups. They are not muffins but little cakes in a cup.
Yes I do agree with you Sour Cream and Chocolate Cake compliments each other very well.
