I bought a packet of Organic wholemeal flour from a supermarket in KL some time ago. I could not remember why I bought in the place except that a) its organic so it is free of pesticide and b) its wholemeal which is marginally better than plain flour. It has now found its purpose. These wholemeal rolls are light & fluffy inside and crusty outside. This recipe calls for 1/3 wholemeal flour and 2/3 bread flour, water, instant yeast, salt, brown sugar for lovely color and barely any fat. Finish off with some rolled oats on top. You can't go wrong with these babies!
